Bands in the Sand is a beach celebration like no other. Each year, more than 1,600 guests gather on the beach, dance barefoot in the sand, sing along to live music, enjoy local cuisine, and raise a glass to saving the Chesapeake Bay.

Not only is this the most fun celebration on the East Coast, but it is vital to our mission. Since 2004, this event has raised more than $3 million toward saving the Bay. Your attendance and support of Bands in the Sand means we can make an even bigger impact on protecting and restoring the Chesapeake Bay in years to come.

Mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate the Chesapeake Bay on August 28, 2021! We hope to see you on the beach this summer, singing, dancing, and saving the Bay!

Sponsorship opportunities are now available. Contact Taryn Dwan at or 443-482-2111 for more information.

Additional information regarding ticket sales will be available in the spring.
