Save the date for our next Bands in the Sand, Saturday, June 8, 2024.

What a night! On June 10, 2023, 1,600 Bay savers rocked out in nature's greatest music venue at Bands in the Sand. With the Chesapeake Bay acting as a gracious host, concertgoers had plenty of reasons to celebrate. In one night of great music, delicious food, and good friends, we raised over $500,000 towards saving the Bay! Thank you to all the sponsors, guests, volunteers, and vendors who made this event such a success.

Bands in the Sand is one of the region's most beloved annual traditions. Where else can you find such a unique combination of live music, refreshing drinks, and local cuisine all around a beachfront stage? Bands in the Sand is always a great time, and everyone in attendance understood the event's greater purpose. The money raised through the festivities help support the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and our efforts to achieve clean water and a healthy environment for all our neighbors in the Bay's watershed. The funds raised through this event go wherever the Bay needs them most, including efforts over the next year like:
