The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), in collaboration with The Conservation Fund (TCF), looks to transfer ownership of CBF’s portion of Holly Beach Farm (the Property) to a Qualified Non- Profit or Public Organization that fits within the meaning of Section 170(h)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. CBF’s goal is to find a steward that will honor the history and ecological significance of the Property while possibly enhancing the use and exposure to Holly Beach Farm in line with the original funding sources. (See Attachment A) We invite you to respond to this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFI) with a Letter of Interest explaining how you intend to steward the Property in the short and long term, what your potential usage and access goals are including any partners you may involve, and how you intend to fund your work on the Property. Please list expected funding sources you intend to use in both the short and long- term stewardship of the property. We do not need full proposals at this time. If appropriate, CBF will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) at a later date.
