Chesapeake Bay Foundation Online Store
Status: Expired
Date Posted: January 31, 2022
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, is working to Save the Chesapeake Bay and restore clean water to its rivers and streams. At CBF, we encourage people to take action, embrace our “Save the Bay” rally cry and join our fight for effective, science-based solutions to the pollution degrading the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers and streams. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation online store (www.cbfshop.com) is a tool leveraged to support our mission. Profits from our store directly support on-the- ground and in-the-water restoration, advocacy, education, and litigation efforts. In 2019, the CBF store inventory and marketing activities were reinvigorated after two years of being dormant. The initial results exceeded expectations. It showed us that there is an audience of dedicated members, customers and employees who are interested in products from CBF. We are looking to capitalize on this success. CBF wants to increase our product options, increase visibility, and offer consistency in production/shipping/service. The goal for the CBF store is to broaden and amplify CBF’s brand impact by providing high-quality, market-driven products that support our mission to Save the Bay and CBF’s various initiatives. The ideal business partner will have a proven track record in providing direction, fulfillment, and administrative support for inventory, sales/fulfillment, e-store technologies, and customer service strategies.

Federal Lobbyist
Status: Expired
Date Posted: November 23, 2021
The 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement, which incorporates the Chesapeake Bay Clean Water Blueprint, is the most ambitious, coordinated effort to restore a major estuary in the world. To ensure signatories to the agreement honor their commitments by 2025, in 2018, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation launched the Making History campaign including raising 1 Million diverse Voices to advocate before, engage, and educate elected officials and the executive branch at the federal, state, and local levels. We are working in Washington D.C. to secure strong federal funding for the Blueprint, improve federal programs and funding to achieve pollution reduction requirements, with an emphasis on agriculture, and protect key Federal laws and regulations that are critical to the success of the Chesapeake Bay Agreement. This includes working with both Congress and the Administration. We are at a critical juncture with the 2025 deadline approaching and expanding CBF’s federal presence is one of our key strategies to meeting our goals.
